The Precision Products SW38PRE tow-behind lawn sweeper makes quick work of grass trimmings, leaves, or other yard debris. Simply connect the 38-inch sweeper, constructed with a durable 1-inch powder-coated steel tube frame, to nearly any mowing tractor and trail it behind. A spring-loaded handle height adjustment can be reached from the tractor, allowing you to position the three 10-inch diameter brushes to best suit your pick-up needs. The generous hamper holds a total of 15 cubic feet of sweepings, and rolls along on two 10-inch semi-pneumatic aluminum wheels with a five-to-one gear ratio. Works well
I was terrified when I opened the box it came in. The package had not been sealed at the edges of the lid. Inside, loose nuts, bolts and cable ties were scattered all over. The cable ties were supposed to be holding the metal rod components together, but had slipped off. The nuts and bolts were supposed to be in a little bag, but the bag was wide open. Whoever packed it really seems not to have cared. I was certain that I would be making a trip to the hardware store to buy replacement nuts and bolts.But assembly went smoothly. I had all the right parts after all--none had fallen out of the box--and I was impressed at how sturdy the assembled unit looked. I took it outside and attached it to my lawn tractor to test it on my 3/4 acre. It really does a fantastic job at sweeping the lawn, especially on low height settings. The dumping mechanism works nicely as well, making it very easy to dispose of the leaves, twigs and grass clippings that it picks up. The hopper fills up...
