Operator Error?
Reading some of the other reviews, I think some people are installing these incorrectly. The symptoms they describe sound like the first set I bought, which was for my girlfriend's 2008 Nissan Rogue. When I installed the driver's side wiper (the longer of the two) it didn't make good contact with the windshield and would have left huge streaks. There is a way to adjust how the wiper sits by fiddling with the mount. Once I did that (per the included instructions), it worked like a champ. I just put a pair on my 2010 Xterra, and didn't have to do anything special...they worked great from the start. It sometimes pays to read the instructions.As far as the blades scratching the windshield, the only thing I can think of that would cause that to happen is if they forgot to take the plastic cover off the blade. I can't see how someone might do that, but the blade itself is pretty flexible, so I have no idea how it could scratch auto glass.For me, these have...

Great Wipers
I had purchased these wipers after my other silicone wipers had failed me, they even had a lifetime warranty. After not wanting to deal with sub-par wipers I bought these, through a friends recommendation, and will had pressed to use another brand of wiper. These wipers were so great that I bought them for my other vehicle as well. Had them for over a few months, and during rain, snow, and the weird cash wash they have endured. I personally have recommended them to my friends and family and none have had anything bad to say about it. Hope this helps.

Perfect so far
They installed easily (getting the old pair off was more effort) and have had no trouble so far. There haven't been any issues with warping or missing spots on the windshield. They have gone through perhaps a dozen freezings and haven't shown any problems, though it has only been a few months. Recommend.

Good in rain, good in snow.
I previously wrote a review for these saying that I wasn't happy. However, after having used them for winters in Buffalo, I would say that they are quality wipers. They are fantastic in the rain and good in the snow. The only time they gave me a problem is when the hinges froze over, but that may have been a freak occurence. Otherwise, very good wipers.

Some troubleshooting on the install but a definate good buy
Purchased to replace a dead OEM windshield washer pump in a Honda Prelude. Pump comes with instructions and you may not need all the parts it comes with (didn't use the rubber gasket or the grey mounting clips). As for the installation, after removing the front bumper to get to the washer mechanism. I unplugged the old washer unit (black L shaped tube) and unplugged the old +/- wires. Before installing the new pump; you will need a wire crimping tool to attach the rubber covered metal clips (white clips to the left of the pump in picture) to the new +/- wires. I ended up smashing the clips over the wires because i only had hand pliers. As per the original design, and instructions I plugged in the + to + and - to - and installed the new pump. I determined this from the color of the wires. As a test I started my car, filled my washer container and tried the washer switch, it didn't work. Strangely enough, I switched the wires around + to - and - to + and that configuration worked...

Installation takes a lot of work
If you don't mind spending a little more money go ahead and buy the original BMW Windshield Washer Pump. I had to spend several hours to make this work. The cable colors are different than the ones on the car and I had to switch them around several times to find out if they are working and the plastic cable connectors (I don't know what's their real name) doesn't easily get connected to the BMW cables. I ended up cutting the cable skin by a knife and wrapping it around the washer pump cables.It's been on the car for a few weeks and so far it's working ok. However the water doesn't go as high in the window as the original OEM pump, but it does the job for $20.

Works great!
Works great. Requires you to clip the end off of your existing wire harness and replace with different ends or to use the 3M wire splice connectors that are provided...just a bit of minor fiddling. Don't drop it when working or trying to install it into your washer fluid reservoir otherwise you can break off the outlet nipple!

No complaints, streaks, or squeaks!
I ordered the Bosch 19" and 21" wipers for my 2002 Honda Civic as a part of a Buy One Bosch Blade Get One Free [...]. I probably would've never considered trying Bosch windshield blades otherwise, but I'm so happy I did.With my previous blades that I got during an oil change at a quick-lube shop, I got a lot of streaking and squeaking whenever I used them. Every time I encountered a rain storm, I had to abide the same consistent, annoying noise if I didn't want to compromise my own safety. It was very difficult to bear.Even after I pulled the trigger on buying the blades, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to install them on my car because of my lack of automotive know-how. When they came, however, my worries went away. The Bosch blade package showed me how to remove my old blades and how to install the new ones. It was a piece of cake. The only problem? They came individually in two separate boxes that were HUGE. What a waste of packing material, Amazon...

Terrific wipers in combination with RainX
Most new cars come with spring-less wipers from the manufacturer. If that's the case I don't think this makes much sense to get these.If you have an older model car that uses spring-loaded wipers that doesn't do much more than smudging water back-and-forth on your windshield, these wipers are a substantial upgrade. I first bought them for my 2001 RAV4 and replaced only one wiper just to compare side-by-side and it's like seeing half the windshield is squeaky-clean and the other half feels like looking through someone else's eyeglass. The difference is so dramatic you don't need to have the results side-by-side to know there's a huge difference. After that I bought a pair for my 2005 S2000 as well. Same great results compared against the factory spring-loaded wipers.In combination with applying RainX to the windshield, the result is very similar a brand new car off the dealer's lot. So far so good
I've had these about 2 weeks on a Chevy Tahoe and they work great, the only problem is that the passenger-side blade lacks enough "spring" to follow the contour of the windshield, leaving the outermost 2 inches of the blade with virtually no contact with the glass. I'm hoping that as they age a little the rubber wiper will settle in and lower itslef closer to the glass, but who knows...

1993 Dodge Stealth ES
I was pretty skeptical about this product after I found out it is a universal replacement (found out after I bought it). My 1993 Dodge Stealth ES is hard to find parts for and my only other option was to replace the whole tank & pump for one-fifty. However, the instructions were very easy to follow and had about 3 or 4 layouts to pick from. I decided mine was most like layout B which was very easy to install. The hardest part about mine is my windshield washer fluid tank and pump are under my battery so I had to take that out to get to it. Basically all I had to do was cut the positive and negative copper wires to the old pump and connect them to this new one with the two supplied blue wire connectors. Then I took the old water hose that went into the old pump and connected it to this new pump. Finally I took the black hose that came with the kit and connected that to the new pump and to the old pump where the old water hose went into previously. I was not able to screw the pump into...

Quick windshield washer replacement
I bought this when I needed to replace the pump on a 1994 Ford F250 pickup. It mounts to the engine bay with the included sheet metal screws and has sufficient tubing and adapters to do the job. It works well, and is less expensive than going the OEM route. Install took about 30 minutes. Quick delivery too.
