I'll be honest, I was choosing between this & the Graco My Ride 65. I decided, aesthetically speaking, I liked the Graco more. I went to the store & bought it. We came home, installed it, tried to strap our rear facing child into it, and put it back in the box. We then went on Amazon.com & bought one of these Evenflo Triumph 65 DLX. The Graco has that tether you pull between the child's knees. Well, when your child is rear-facing, that's almost impossible to tighten because the seat is in the way. I received the Evenflo, and fell in love. I bought a second for my toddler to have one as well.PROS*It rates very well on Consumer Reports*You don't have to remove the straps in order to change the height. Instead, the straps move with the child, so, I can switch my infant & my toddler back & forth & never change a thing, just strap them in, and tighten the straps!*The tightening mechanism is fool proof, seriously, anyone can do it, no...

Love it!
This is a GREAT car seat! We have owned and used this car seat for about two months now, and we absolutely love it. We upgraded to this car seat from the infant carrier we were using because our eight-month-old baby had gotten too big. This car seat gets excellent safety ratings. We like the infant cushion/insert that comes with the DLX; it makes our baby very comfortable and safe. While this car seat is significantly bigger than our old one, it also goes to 65 pounds. We love that it is both rear facing and forward facing and has the LATCH accessories for easy installation. It fits well in the back of our Toyota Camry (we didn't have to move the front seats). Our baby seems to really enjoy riding in it and has actually traveled much better since we started using this seat. We were worried that it would be really wide and take up a lot of space in the backseat of our car, but it isn't too huge. Nice car seat
I researched a bunch of different car seats and decided to go with this one because it was more of a mid-range one with all of the features that I was looking for. I had bought our first son an Alpha Omega Elite and it's OK, but I have been less than impressed with it at times. I have only had the car seat for a couple of weeks so far, but I am very satisfied with it and am glad that I didn't spend the extra $100 on a Britax and I will be purchasing one for my husband's car also (once my son can sit forward facing).PROS:1) The Infinite Slide Harness is really easy to use. Another winner by Deaver
Lincoln goes to North Carolina for experimental surgery to hopefully give him more mobility. In a way he is a fish out of water in this new area not his familiar NYC but he soon learns his way around. As he did in The Bone Collector, Deaver picks a character's quirk, and in this one it is Bugs Boy fasination with insects, and makes it a intregal part of the story. As his usual, Deaver grabs your interest in the first chapter and doesn't leave you go till the end. Has Deaver's usual plot twists and turns. Enjoyed the developement of Lincoln's and Amelia's relationship even though most of the story they were apart. The action at the beginning isn't fast but the next 2/3 of the book makes up for it. Read it in 24hrs. and will reread as soon as all my friends get a chance to read it.

In The Empty Chair, Jeffery Deaver's third Rhyme outing--after 1997's The Bone Collector and 1998's The Coffin Dancer--Rhyme travels to North Carolina to undergo an experimental surgical procedure and is, a jot too coincidentally, met at the door by a local sheriff, the cousin of an NYPD colleague, bearing one murder, two kidnappings, and a timely plea for help. It seems that 16-year-old Garrett Hanlon, a bug-obsessed orphan known locally as the Insect Boy, has kidnapped and probably raped two women, and bludgeoned to death a would-be hero who tried to stop one of the abductions.

Rhyme sets up shop, Amelia leads the local constabulary (easily recognized by their out-of-joint noses) into the field, and, after some Holmesian brain work and a good deal of exciting cat-and-mousing, the duo leads the cops to their prey. And just as you're idly wondering why the case is coming to an end in the middle of the book, Amelia breaks the boy out of jail and goes on the lam. Equally convinced of the boy's guilt and the danger he poses to Amelia, Rhyme has no choice but to aid the police in apprehending the woman he loves--no easy task, as she's the one human being who truly knows the methods of Lincoln Rhyme.

Rhyme's specialty combines the minute scientific analysis of physical evidence gathered from crime scenes and his arcane knowledge of, it would seem, every organic and inorganic substance on earth. Deaver combines engaging narration, believable characters, and his trademark ability to repeatedly pull the rug out from under the reader's feet. If you are picking up a Lincoln Rhyme novel for the first time; rest assured you are in very good hands. Jeffrey deaver has developed his character extrememly well over the three books and though some people crib about the ploy of using a quadraplegic detective; trust me, it works and how ! . In the Empty Chair; Rhyme is not only a fish out of water(out of his familar NY surroundings) but he also has to grapple with trying to convince Amelia sachs that he has to undergo a complicated operation which could leave him worse off but which could also give him some additional mobility if things go well but before that he has the local Police department asking for his help in locating 2 kidnapped girls and from here on, you are in classic Deaver territory; he piles on the chills and the thrills without ever sacrificing the characters in favour of the plot, the ending is a virtuouso tour de force and it was virtually impossible to second guess the outcome of the book. Highest quality materials and craftsmanship
McGard is a company that still sets out to make the BEST possible product, not the cheapest. The quality of their products is second to none. Don't waste your time going through multiple cycles of trying inferior products -- get it right the first time and FINISH the whole matter. Here's a tip -- look at the quality of the packaging to get some clue as to the quality of the product inside. McGard's packaging shows the care and pride they take in all that they do. McGard's service department is also first rate. It's good to know that there are still companies like McGard that will not cut corners despite the flood of cheap junk on the market that is only sold by a (falsely) low price. We will all learn this lesson sooner or later -- how much will it cost you to finally get it right?

These are fine wheel locks
I purchased these on line because the dealer provided wheel locks that stuck out over 1/4" farther than the lug nuts, which are all visible. I did call the McGard people to discuss which model to buy. Do not waste your time with them. They wanted me to buy a totally different model than what I bought. They had no information on the make and model car that I have it's a 2011. That was a big disappointment. If they had a drawing on their website that showed how them measure the length and the depth of the bore for the threads, that would help a lot. I e-mailed them to. Don't bother with that either. They actually suggested that I buy the locks on line someplace else.

" One option is for the town to contact the OSE and emphasize that the well was activated in an emergency situation and apply for a temporary permit to use the well until $70,000 in possible FEMA grant money arrives to repair the booster station,... That way the town could leave the booster station inactive until enough residents were in the subdivision to require it, but the OSE then would have jurisdiction over the town's claimed water rights, she said. By state standards, Carrizozo's current population and lack of a 40-year water plan would mean that the town would likely lose some of its water, she said. Weibrecht said that after looking at the town's options, she recommended the trustees "move forward with a permanent permit for the pit well, rather than a temporary supplemental permit. Compounding the non-permitted pumping is the fact that Carrizozo owns abundant water rights that were claimed "before the Office of the State Engineer had authority over them," Town Clerk Leann Weibrecht said. '" Carrizozo trustees applied for a $50,000 CDBG planning grant for a 40-year water plan in December of 2011. An expensive repair from a February 2011 freeze at Valle del Sol's booster station that burst pipes led to the town using a nearby well to supply homes in the subdivision with water. "We didn't have the money to fix the $59,000 quote that I got to repair (the booster station), so FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) promised us some money," Maintenance Foreman Joey Thornton told trustees on Tuesday.
