exactly what I wanted
Got it for my 2010 F-150 (same piece fits tons of others including mustangs). you plug it into the port underneath the steering wheel and it walks you through the setup. can change power level, shift points, shift firmness, and correct speedo for my bigger tires. very easy, very quick. I can go back and make changes anytime I want by just plugging it back in. Really feel the difference and nice to be able to use it again if hauling the boat and want different shift points. cool product well worth it. Have ran about a 1000 miles since getting it. Intalled in a 07 nissan xterra. Was very easy to install just had to go to the auto parts store and get a add a fuse link. The unit has taken me from 14 miles a gallon up to 18-17 miles per gallon. I've also noticed that the truck has more snort snd get up and go, fixed a slight hesitation in acceleration.So I like it and recommend it to anybody wanting to get more power or gas milage.would have rated it 5 stars but the display is a little to small, and I fell they should have given the add a fuse with the unit. A sure improvement over stock! Bully Dog 40410 Guage/Tuner
I ordered this Item to install in my 09 Chevy Silverado 5.8. After I lifted it and put aftermarket oversized tires and wheels it obviously had reduced performance. But worse off it had a major reduction in fuel economy!!!! It went from about 16.5 average HWY/CITY down to 12.5. Yikes, with todays fuel prices. I started with a cold air intake that gave me a good boost in power but only about 1 more mpg. Then I put dual catbacks for the exhaust wich made the truck sound great and added a very small power boost but no notice of better fuel economy. I have a lot into this truck and plan on keeping it for a while so I was on always on the hunt for better fuel mileage. I decided to try the Bully Dog 40410 GT Gas Guage Tuner. It was supposed to be for the most part a power performance addition product. But what I noticed more than that is it boosted my fuel economy right back up to stock before wheels and tires!!! '02 GMC Sierra 5.3
I've had the Bully Dog hooked up for about a week and a half now running on the regular tune setting. The setup was a little funny at first. I updated the software as it strongly suggests, which I think initiated the setup wizard. So when I installed it on my truck, I had to manually initialize the setup. No real big deal, but does take a couple minutes. For my '02 Sierra 1500 5.3L, there are a couple fuses you have to pull when you reprogram (so you have to do this if you want to change any settings or program lvl's). The little ATM fuses are kind of a pain to remove, but not terrible. I used a Buss fuse tap (that I ordered when I ordered the Bully Dog unit), and it made it a lot easier to install the remote power line.As far as performance goes, I definitely noticed a quicker throttle response and a little better acceleration. Again, I only have it on the regular tune, and haven't tried the performance tune. Not sure I want to spend the $4.25 a gal for premium gas at the... Top to learn more

good performance, easy to install
You take it out of box, plug the cable into the connector under your steering wheel. It then walks your through the install. You can change performance, how the transmission shifts, speed limiter, and even fix your speedo if you had bigger tires on. took about five minutes to install. worked great and I keep in glove box because you can use it if you get a check engine light, you plug it in and it tells you why the light came on and gives you the option to clear the code. pretty cool. It only works on one vehicle at a time but you can go back to stock and test on another vehicle. I uninstalled in on my f-150 and tried on neighbors mustang. worked great so he went and got on also. Performance improvements I could feel but couldn't tell mileage because i found myself pushing the pedal down more just to feel the kick. Top to learn more

Is it worth the money?
I bought this programmer to try out, but I ended up returning it. I have a 2004 F150 Heritage and I bought it to see if it would help with my gas mileage and to adjust my speedometer.After running a few tanks with it, I did not notice any noticeable improvement in my mileage. I also have bigger than stock tires on my truck so I wanted to be able to adjust my speedometer to the correct speed.After inputting the tire size and reprogramming the pcm, I compared my speedometer to my gps at various speeds. I noticed at lower speeds the difference between the speedometer and gps was very large. At around 100 km/h (on the speedometer) the difference became a lot smaller but it was still off by a bit (91 km/h on the gps). I ended up reprogramming it to from a 33 inch tire size to 32 inch (stock tire size is about 31 inches and the tires I have on there are now 33 inches) and the difference at about 100 km/h (on the speedometer) was only about 1-2 km/h (98 km/h on... Does as advertised but don't expect to be blown away
I got the 15003 for my 01 Grand Marquis because I was looking to add some power and possibly do some modifications. I was thinking of going with the superchips flashpaq but couldn't get a straight answer from them on weather or not my car was supported. Plus the only comparison review I could find showed the Jet tuners adding more power. After doing some performance runs with different tunes and fuel types, recording the data with an elm5 scan tool, then exporting the data to excel and graphing it I noticed a few interesting things.1: The premium fuel tune (fuel only, shift points/firmness left stock) cuts 0.4 seconds off the 0-60 time, taking it from 8.8 seconds to 8.4. The takeoffs are still meh and the power increase isn't noticeable until about 40 mph.2: The reg fuel canned tune (WOT shifts are firmed up, 1-2 shift point goes from 4800 RPM to 5100 RPM) adds no power. The only performance improvement comes in the firmed up shifting and modified shift points and it... Top to learn more

So far I like it. Not sure I can say I feel it's worth the $389 price tag though.. Its made of very cheap materials and uses 10 year old touch screen technology...I have tinkered with the transmission settings and notice no difference in autostick settings and it will not even go to autostick upshift mode #3. I did the CAI tune and the engine spark knocked for a few minutes then it was gone after the cars computer adjusted itself out.. I did notice a desireable difference when changing the atuto shift patterns to raised and using the preloaded CAI tune. Also the traction control is significantly less aggressive although still enabled , when using the aforementioned tunes. You can disable the traction control and you will notice a difference, but if you are driving in foul conditions , best to just return your factory settings ,because everything I do , makes the traction control much less active. All in all , Its 50% worthy of its price tag.. Top to learn more
