Good choice
These lights are a big improvement over stock bulbs without being obnoxious to other drivers. I have not had failures of this lamp in any vehicle. I am careful not to touch the glass of the bulb with bare skin. Finger oils can supposedly damage the glass and shorten the life. As an electrician, Sylvania bulbs are my first choice. They have served me well over the years with impressive longevity.

Night Driving Is Now Not Dreaded!!!!
I recently purchased a 2007 Nissan Frontier SE pick-up. I noticed it had the reflective headlights when I purchased it, but thought no furthur about it until my first night back roads(dark) drive. We have a lot of deer in the area, and hardly a night goes by that I do not have them cross the road in front of me. I could not see more than 100 feet in front of me on dim and about 125 feet on bright, it seemed, and was hesitant to drive more than 30-35 mph. I found myself ducking down to try to see under the light/dark edge. I was amazed to hear my wife describe the same feeling. I hated to drive at night. I contacted the local Nissan dealer and asked if the lights could be adjusted. The service manager acted like I was crazy and said they had not had this problem before, and was no help at all. I contacted Nissan headquarters who were even less help. They told me to contact the local dealers who were independently owned, and would be glad to furnish me a list of the area...

Much brighter than the OEM bulbs that were in dad's car. He's been avoiding driving at night because his Taurus headlights were so dim and he's been having trouble seeing. Now he's able to leave the house.

Goog lights
I installed them in a 1998 Plymouth Voyager, known for poor headlight design. In addition, this car has a lower voltage in the system then normal, 12.5 V with the engine running. A big improvement over the old Sylvania standard halogen bulbs. More side coverage, and definitely at least 50% longer. I hope they will last a long time, this car never burned one bulb in 13 years, 170000 miles (maybe due to the lower voltage). Note: I tried new standard halogen bulbs after I polished the headlights, and it did help. The X-treme bulbs made the big difference.

Noticeable improvement - worth the money
Recently replaced both headlight units on my DD Nissan (bought used, original lenses had started to deteriorate & yellow) but still wanted to improve the low beam output a bit more without melting or damaging the new lights (all plastic) or surrounding wiring. Did a lot of research on the various replacement bulbs that are available. Unfortunately, much of what I found was overwritten, flowery hype on what are basically "tinted" stock bulbs or simply outright BS ("Xenon HID 9007 Hyper Purple" for example) and it came down to there only being 3 or 4 `real' choices that would provide a useful improvement in light output on the market. In checking those, these Philips X-treme Power bulbs seem to have the best combination of increased light output coupled with better longevity, so I bought a pair. While I did not really notice a big improvement driving in built-up areas, there was a noticeable increase in light on dark or under lit roads, probably around...

Good value, average performance
Bottom line up front: Don't expect a $30 CMOS backup camera to perform like your $600 camcorder. This camera is good for the price. I installed it rather quickly in conjunction with my Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT. It added a Pyramid 10-amp noice filter ($3) as close to camera as possible to ensure it got clean power. It works fine. I can see anything behind me, day or night. Between the IR illuminators on the camera and your backup lights, anything close enough to be of concern at normal reversing speeds are illuminated. After careful aiming, I know right where the "sweet spot" is for backing closse to other car's bumper and other obstacles behind me and still have a save 6-12" buffer. I now get in and out of tight spots with ease. Important notes: - Don't expect this to look like HDTV. It's a $30 CMOS camera. - Use the $3 noise filter. - Route your cables carefully. You should ground the negative lead as close to the camera aspossible...

the ballast has been removed and it only has 2 studs on it, i had to remove them for the replacement neon i got, but it does work if you throw a ballast on, and epoxy some studs back on it, they were already epoxied on and it held for over a year. This was just removed off a 98 lsc, it still works great and the inside is nice and clean, the problem is i cracked the lense on it, you can see in the pic where its cracked, it is sealed back up with clear silicone.
