Great Buy
I am not one to write many reviews but I wanted to help by giving some feedback. I was getting a random misfire code on my Expedition while is was under a load (higher RPM's). I chased this by replacing spark plugs, fuel filter, fuel injection cleaning etc. While all of this was probably helpful it didnt correct my problem. I have about 95,000 miles and a mechanic friend told me "it's probably not the coil packs cause they rarely go bad." Well he was wrong... I bought these because I couldn't pass up the price and I was tired of chasing my tail. Replaced all 8 and it works like a champ. Truck runs like new without any issues. This was a tough diagnostics because it idled fine and you could rev the car and it seems fine. Hopefully this information will help someone out to save the time it took me to figure it out. Make sure and use Permatex Dielectric Tune-Up Grease on the ends that connect to the spark plug....Update 05/01/11 - Found out my cats were clogged as...

Smooth as glass again!
1999 Ford Crown Victoria, she had a misfire in cylinders 5 & 6, idling very roughly. 90,000 miles. This are very easy to change yourself. Take your time and do a good clean job. They look great under the hood. I love the sticker on each coil that says "Lethal Voltage!" Fired her up and it was smooth and quiet again. And it pulls harder above 4,000 rpms (bonus!) Price was right as well.

Improved Preformance
Great product, noticed the deference in acceleration. The 25,000 extra volts on the coil does make a deference. Someone told me they also boast gas milage by 10%, checking that out too.

I saved SO much money
I had 2 different ignition coils go out on my Lincoln LS V8 over the period of a few months. Each time I took it into my local shop to get it fixed, they charged me $116 for parts, not to mention labor, and the cost for one at my local auto parts supplier was around $70-$80 for each one. I began looking for a less expensive alternative and found that this supplier sells 8 of them for less than the price of 1 purchased locally.When these first arrived I noticed the part number was different than the ones listed on my car. After some searching online and contacting my local Ford dealer, I confirmed that these certainly do fit a Lincoln LS V8, mine happens to be a 2004.I would consider myself slightly above an amateur as I always change my own oil, rotate my tires, and have replaced the shocks and struts on 2 of my cars. I do these things to save money, but I have to thoroughly research each of these projects and it sometimes takes me a while to do it...

Great Coils
I installed these coils on my 2003 Lincoln Aviator. The difference was very noticable. I had the vehicle into the shop 3 times to address a rough idle. They were not able to fix it, telling me everything was fine. They replaced two coils when the check engine light came on; but the idle was still rough when compared to other Aviators. I saw an article on a mechanic's forum about poor performing coils that are not detectable by normal shop procedures. The cost to purchase the 8-pack of coils was less than one service visit to replace one! The repair is a simple do-it-yourself job taking about 40 minutes to complete. You simply remove the coil coverplates, unplug the coils, remove the coils and reverse the process with the new coils. The engine now runs smooth and the pulling power is back to where it used to be.

A great deal
First, if you are purchasing this for a 2005 F-150 or Eddie Bauer Expedition with a 3V Triton V-8, these are the correct coils. The Amazon selector would have you purchase the 2V version for the Expedition (don't ask me how I know this!). The two valve version is 140032-8 2. Thanks to Amazon's fantastic return policy, it was easy cheesy, lemon squeezy to get the correct coils. Again, these coils are for the 3V Triton engine.As for the coils, they are obviously high quality and they perform as well or better than the originals. I will tell you, though, that I have not tested the removed originals to determine if they are, indeed, bad. My Expedition started "bumping" while easing uphill and I first thought it was a transmission issue. Turns out, it was a tune-up issue. I got over 100,000 miles on the original coils and plugs, so I'm not complaining. The biggest reason, beyond age, to replace the coils when replacing the plugs are that you DON'T want to go through that...

These coils work great, all my misfires went away once I got rid of the crappy stock units and put these units in. The price was the best of anyone on the web.

Better then OEM for less
Better constructed then OEM and they perform a lot better for even less then wholesale OEM prices. There is one bad review on one of the forums. Why are some people lemmings? That person had other issues, blamed it on the coils and never corrected his review. The OEM coils do fail. You can buy these individually, the same as OEM ones.Cons: The color dresses up your engine, so you will want a clean rag when installing each one as you will be upset seeing them dirty.

worked great
replaced all 8 coils on my 2000 Grand Marquis after one went out and started causing all kinds of problems. There was not a noticeable miss, but under a load, the computer would just shut down and the engine would quit. It would start again if you waited a few minutes. I replaced the plugs and then had a dead miss. I tracked down the cylinder that was missing, and replaced that coil only. That fixed the problem, but then I found out that Ford recommends you replace these coils at 100,000 miles, so I went ahead and did the other 7. The car runs better now than it has in years! Be sure you buy some di-electric grease at an auto parts store, as they don't package it with the coils. It keeps moisture away from the electrical connections.

Worked beautifully
I have a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria CNG which had two COPs replaced in 2002 and one COPs replaced in 2008. I figured it's about time to replace them all since the rest were still the original ones from 2001.Amazon prices are the best since O'Reilly/Kragen Auto Parts were selling them for $38.99 each. Savings of over $112.00 for eight COPs.The Crown Vic CNG now runs so smooth that the rough idle associated with CNG engines is a thing of the past.

Work great!
These work just as good as the original ford coil packs only they cost less than half the price. I had to replace several coil packs because my Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor was misfiring. It really feels like the car has more pep and takes off much faster now that I've put these new coil packs in.
