replacement for OEM
I purchased this to replace the factory idler arm which went out at 80k (!!). It was very easy to locate this and similar parts on Amazon's parts finder for my selected vehicle. This moog part K8283 seemed heavier duty than stock + had the necessary grease fittings to help this part last longer (IMO) than the OEM which was a non-serviceable type. MAKE sure you pay attention to which way the old mounting bracket is attached to your car frame and I needed a tie rod "pickle fork" tool to separate the old arm from the steering stabilizer bolt. A small fine blade wood chisel will prove helpful to drive the old sleeve UP AND OFF the stabilizer's bolt. It took 2 hrs to complete job.
