Best and most cost-effective product of its type
Short version:Among all fuel system cleaners I'm aware of, Redline SI-1 contains the highest quantity per dollar (based on manufacturer MSDS) of the critical fuel-system-cleaning compounds known as polyether amines (PEA). Primarily for this reason I believe SI-1 to be the best available and most cost-effective fuel system cleaner product at retail pricing. [...].In my case it has not been necessary to use Redline's recommended quantity of approximately 3 oz per fill-up. The effects of 1 oz per fill-up are indistinguishable in terms of tested results (see my basis for this statement below). This results in an approximate cost of $0.35/tank or less than a tenth of a penny per mile. A full case at this usage rate is enough to treat 180 full tanks of fuel or to last approximately 80,000 miles. (Figures based 15gal/tank, 25-35mpg).Long version:As far as I know, every effective fuel system cleaner on the market uses a class of compounds known...

Raised my gas mileage 3-4 points
My '06 Civic SI has about 40,000 miles on it. It had been getting around 22 mpg (mostly city driving) but even with long distance freeway driving (around 75mph) I'd only get about 23 mpg. I usually use Chevron or Shell gas. I also have used Techron fuel cleaner in the past with no results. So I used Red Line SI-1 a few tanks ago, and my gas mileage has increased to about 26 mpg for my last few tanks. Right now I'm at 318 miles on one tank of gas, and i have one bar left on my fuel gauge (it's digital). Prior to the Red Line the best I'd ever gotten was 312 on one tank of gas, and that was after driving the ENTIRE tank on the freeway, and driving 10 miles with no bars left on the fuel gauge. Typically I would get 250-270 miles on one tank.I'm stoked!I will admit that using this stuff ain't going to do anything to help you if your injectors aren't clogged... but if you suspect they are, this is the fuel cleaner to get!

I Trust It
I belong to an online forum of Colorado owners (coloradofans.com) and created a poll to see which fuel system cleaner the members liked best. This one did very well, so I tried it and I like the results. I have poured a bottle in the tank prior to every oil change recently.I also like Techron, because it seems to give me a smoother idle over each tank of gas. Redline seems to bring out the raw power of my engine though.I am not a mechanic, but it seems to work for me.

it works good
Have ran about a 1000 miles since getting it. Intalled in a 07 nissan xterra. Was very easy to install just had to go to the auto parts store and get a add a fuse link. The unit has taken me from 14 miles a gallon up to 18-17 miles per gallon. I've also noticed that the truck has more snort snd get up and go, fixed a slight hesitation in acceleration. So I like it and recommend it to anybody wanting to get more power or gas milage.would have rated it 5 stars but the display is a little to small, and I fell they should have given the add a fuse with the unit. A sure improvement over stock! Bully Dog 40410 Guage/Tuner
I ordered this Item to install in my 09 Chevy Silverado 5.8. After I lifted it and put aftermarket oversized tires and wheels it obviously had reduced performance. But worse off it had a major reduction in fuel economy!!!! It went from about 16.5 average HWY/CITY down to 12.5. Yikes, with todays fuel prices. I started with a cold air intake that gave me a good boost in power but only about 1 more mpg. Then I put dual catbacks for the exhaust wich made the truck sound great and added a very small power boost but no notice of better fuel economy. I have a lot into this truck and plan on keeping it for a while so I was on always on the hunt for better fuel mileage. I decided to try the Bully Dog 40410 GT Gas Guage Tuner. It was supposed to be for the most part a power performance addition product. But what I noticed more than that is it boosted my fuel economy right back up to stock before wheels and tires!!! And maybe then some. I do notice a slight power increase in the normal tune and... Top to learn more
'02 GMC Sierra 5.3
I've had the Bully Dog hooked up for about a week and a half now running on the regular tune setting. The setup was a little funny at first. I updated the software as it strongly suggests, which I think initiated the setup wizard. So when I installed it on my truck, I had to manually initialize the setup. No real big deal, but does take a couple minutes. For my '02 Sierra 1500 5.3L, there are a couple fuses you have to pull when you reprogram (so you have to do this if you want to change any settings or program lvl's). The little ATM fuses are kind of a pain to remove, but not terrible. I used a Buss fuse tap (that I ordered when I ordered the Bully Dog unit), and it made it a lot easier to install the remote power line.As far as performance goes, I definitely noticed a quicker throttle response and a little better acceleration. Again, I only have it on the regular tune, and haven't tried the performance tune. Not sure I want to spend the $4.25 a gal for premium gas at the... Top to learn more

Recommended
I have found this to be the best of three different after-market TPMS that I've tried. This valve attachment location has proven more durable than the band technique. The simultanous four-time readout is more user-friendly than those readouts that require a button to be pushed repeatedly to change among multiple tires. This unit has proven appropriately sensitive to low tire pressures on multiple occasions. Economical. Highly recommended. Top to learn more
Excellent product, works exactly as described.
After having read reviews and researched Hella TC-400 and Orange Electronic P409s kits, I decided on the P409s because it is less expensive, less complicated to install, displays 4 tire pressure readings simultaneously and has one small display unit (vs a display unit AND receiver that the TC-400 requires).I installed the sensors myself onto brand new 18" BMW aluminum alloys and had my shop use a dial-type torque wrench to torque the valves (included in the kit) down to 4 newton meters (~35 inch pounds), exactly as the Orange Electronic P409s manual states. If you don't have a dial type torque wrench (not clicker), then you'll need one to install this kit. I then had them mount the tires on and as soon as they pressurized the tires, the sensors turned on.The kit includes absolutely everything you need: valve cores, valve stems, valve stem caps that say (sensor inside), and sensors. The only thing you need are wheels and tires. Finally, it takes about... Top to learn more

A must if you have full time all wheel drive...
...and highly recommended if you don't. Bought this device from another online vendor because Amazon had not yet started carrying it. This one gets only 4 1/2 stars because depending on where you place it, the display might not be readable in bright light conditions. However, the audible alarm will promptly alert you of anything headed south with your tire pressures.(UPDATE Dec 04, 2011: As of this date, I still own this Subaru and have put an ADDITIONAL 100,000 miles on it since the failure of the center differential that was suspected of being caused by one chronically low tire over the first 80,000+ miles under the most extreme of driving conditions with no hint of the second differential encountering a similar issue. While the potential consequences for damaging an expensive drive line component in an AWD system due to one low tire would appear to be arguable in theory as discussed by one knowledgeable commenter, the tolerances in today's AWD systems... if it shows E-1/2-F, the resistance coil on the sender is probably open. Is it reading empty or is it showing E-1/2-F. If your dash is analog, you can buy a new sender from ClassiqueCars. com, but if it's a digital dash, forget about finding the correct sender.
Usually, the fuel sending unit is integrated with an in-tank fuel pump (sometimes they can be replaced separately) which are expensive to begin with. However, the majority of the bill involves the labor because you have to drop the fuel tank to get to the pump/sender assembly.
Its blinks empty and says "0 miles till empty", but I know its full since I filled it. I had it on the road briefly this year to get some exhaust work done to it and tranny flushed and while I was driving the gas gauge filled right up. Sometimes,... Im just getting it ready to take out for its first summer (in a long time) and the last problem Im having is my digital fuel gauge.
