Finally a fan controller that works!
Background: I was attempting to install an electric fan out of a ford contour into my 1980 Jeep CJ7. I had bought an autozone branded fan controller, hooked everything up and it worked for about a day. After buying and returning about five of them I was about to give up when I looked on trusty old amazon and found this controller. Thought I would give it a shot, worse case scenario being I could return it as well.Current: This controller works great. Instuctions are very vague but I knew what I was doing. I can say that after 2 months, it still works perfectly. My Jeep no longer has overheating problems. I would highly recommend this controller for anyone needing to have an automatic fan. Can't beat the price either. Less than an 8th of the cost of some bigger brand names and works just as good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Invited by a friend to the Los Angeles Dodgers home openerin 2000/01, Michael sat down next to a guy he had not met before. During an exchange of pleasantries he learned the man was a criminal defense lawyer.
During his years as a crime reporter with the Los Angeles Times, Connelly knew defense attorneys typically worked a selection of courthouses due to the geographical breadth of the city as well as the numerous courthouses in LA County. Intrigued he asked which courthouses he worked? He said all of them. Baffled he asked where his office was located? “Basically, it’s my car… have case, will travel.” Then he went on to explain, he was willing to take cases anywhere because he made his car into a working office. He used a client, who owed him legal fees as a driver. This allowed him to sit in the backseat with a fold down desk, computer, printer, wireless fax, etc. While driving between courthouses, he worked the phone, wrote legal briefs and pleadings. Basically, he turned drive time into office time...

Flex-a-lite 5919 Steel Star Aluminum 19.25" O.E. Replacement Fan
Flex-a-lite manufactures well built OEM replacement fans. While the max recommended RPM rating is only 4000, I've spun this assembly intermittently well into the 6000 figures with no adverse effect to date. Wouldn't use it for any racing applications. Bolts up perfectly to an OEM GM fan clutch. This fan also measures 19 inches exactly across; not 19.25 inches as specified. Make sure you pay close attention to the directional sticker on the fan that indicates the correct side facing the radiator, as it can be installed bass ackwards for decreased air circulation.

fan cfm is to low for a stand alone fan. it cannot cool my chevy s10.it's better used for an add on fan.I still used it but i added a second fan.it is very quiet however and the fan mounts very easy with the mounting kit.the fan is also very light.

This fan replaced 2 smaller fans on my custom 1980 Turbo Crolla that I thought would have been better. To my surprise, I was wrong. This is a great fan. My overheating days are over. Great fan for the price.
