Magnaflow 91005 Universal Catalytic Converter
i ordered this for a 2002 s10 pick up. i bought it as a replacement since the one on the truck had been cut off, it arrived like a week before amazon said it would, had it put on the truck and quietened it down alot and made the little 4 cylinder a little more peppier. did it improve my gas mileage ? i'm hoping it did but i dunno cause the gas hand dont work, anybody know how to fix that on the cheap lol. but it DIDN'T make my check engine light go off tho, but it also has another exhaust leak at the flex pipe and thats the next repair.its a one size fits all converter but for the 60 bucks i paid for it and 25 to get it installed sure beats the 189 price the auto parts store asked for one to fit it, so yeah i would order from them again

This cat is more compacr than the original but the flow is still great. used one adaptor and 6" pipe 2 1/4 in. Welded it to a glass pack and new tail pipe.My Jeep is breathin easy again.

Perfect for my old car
Put this on my 1979 Oldsmobile Toronado as old one was shot due to age and older design (pancake style). This one made a very noticeable improvement on acceleration and gas mileage. With this flow thru design it has virtually no backpressure. I installed this 10 months ago and have no complaints.

Great Catalytic Converter
I purchased this Catalytic Converter a couple months ago and it fit perfectly and has had no problems since and the build quality looks and feels great. I installed this Converter with a new Magnaflow muffler at the same time and my wife and I are very happy with the sound and with the combo it upped the fuel mpg's of my wife's 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with a 4.7 V8 engine by an average of three miles per gallon and I sold the stock converter on eBay for $110 so I made money both ways. It also made the Jeep preform a noticeable amount better and when you take your foot off the accelerator the engine now barely slows the Jeep down since there is not much back pressure now. This was a very nice improvement to the sound and performance.

Amazon has the greatest pricing of this item plus shipping is extremely fast!!The converter is simple to install and looks good. However, the sound is a little "hallow". It's a bit louder than stock, especially at start up or when giving more throtle. The "hallow" sound sounds like air blowing through an aluminum can. Could be a bit annoying, but comparing the prices with the stock converter, this is a way better choice.

A bargain compared to local prices
I ordered it, it arrived on time, and it fit. It saved me about $70 over the local prices. I bought this for Chevy S10 1998 and I was a bit skeptical at first. I didn't want to pay so much for a part and not be sure if it was a rip off.
