Excellent companion dumbphone
I have purchased this phone as a companion dumbphone for my powerful (and therefore battery hungry) Samsung Galaxy S2 - as a backup phone to take into long trips and such, and also to carry around in places where it's not advisable to have a $500 device in your pocket. In this role, it performs amiably.First of all, battery life. If you have researched around, you probably already know that this is one of the longest-living phones (whether smart or dumb) on the market, all thanks to the 1700mAh battery it comes with. In my limited testing, the claims of weeks of standby time and hours of talk time do stand up to scrutiny. The battery really is pretty huge, and takes up a significant part of the phone - that said, it's not particularly big, thick or heavy for a dumbphone.Dual SIM card capability is good to have while abroad - you stick your regular SIM card into the first slot, and a freshly bought local prepaid SIM into the second. Good phone. But read this.
In general, LG GX200 is a good phone for someone who does not have high expectations. Phone is nice in its appearence, looks good. The most important thing for this phone is that it can make work two sim cards at the same time. Sim cards can be swithed to each other by pushing a button which is located by the phone. Screen resolution is not very high but good enough.Battery power is really really good. You can use it along almost a week. Phone's speaker is bad. You can not get loud voice. Headphone is good. Listening to music by the headphone is satisfying. However, it is not a complete music phone. It supports Micro SD memory card up to 4 GB. There is no problem with that. Camera is 1.3 megapixels and does not take really good pictures. It has also a flash but not useful. It can be used as a torch, that is good. For the rest, it can be taken into consideration.

Good Phone At A Fair Price
The phone arrived early. It's a European phone and it came with the adapter for the charger, and a mini CD with software. Love the dual SIM. More features that I thought it had: video recording, FM radio, audio recording, torch (flashlight), browser, etc. Very nice for the price. I use one SIM for keeping my old cell number active and the other for my new number (after relocating for work). Dual SIM is good if you want to keep your personal number and work number separate.

Ideal for World Travelers
This phone is Quad band and works all over the world. With dual SIM card slots, you can use your home country SIM and then a get a SIM for the country you are visiting so that calls are cheap. It is an average basic phone.1.3 megapixel camera is basically a gimmick, there is no speakerphone and I could not connect it to the computer using the software downloaded from LG web site. So if you want to listen to music, you will have to transfer the music to micro SD card from the computer. It is lot more expensive here: in India I purchased it for seventy three dollars.
